Life. But Progress!

The last few weeks have been interesting. I’ve been under a ton of stress from work that’s caused both insomnia and a complete loss of my appetite. So I haven’t been sleeping and have been losing weight (normally a good thing) but running, fundraising, dissertation and basically every other part of my life has suffered. Every day has been a struggle and when I get home at night, I’m just beyond exhausted and go right to bed.

But today I ran 3 miles on the treadmill and felt great. Really really great. The chiropractor, the massages and the additional stretching I’ve been doing have really made a difference. My legs and cardio were great, and I could have kept going but am trying to be disciplined about increasing milage beyond what I need to. I’ve always found with running that there’s a struggle for a while but then one day everything clicks into place. Things are definitely clicking, and at just the right time.

AND I finally used the new rollers that I technically got Victor for our anniversary but that I’ve procured as community property. OH MY GOD. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. Here’s the kit we got. It is awesome.
